DESCRIPTION:We’re back this fall with our second competitive team league\, the Fall Brawl. In this league\, a thrilling snake draft will occur as team captains carefully select their players. The exact team size will be determined once the registration process is finalized. Our objective is to assemble teams\, each comprising a minimum of 6 dedicated players. \nHere’s how the league works: \nWeekly Matches\n\nEvery week\, team captains will strategically assemble their team lineups and face off against another team’s lineup.\n\nMatch Format\n\nEach match is composed of individual lines. Team captains select two players from their team to fill each line.\nLineup exchanges happen just before the match begins\, ensuring that neither captain knows the opposing team line up ahead of time.\nEach line consists of a best-of-three set format\, with each game playing to a score of 15 points. Once one team wins 2 sets in a line\, that line is over.\nWinning your line contributes valuable points to your team’s overall score.\n\nPoints Breakdown: \n\nLine 1: 5 points\nLine 2: 4 points\nLine 3: 3 points\n\nIn an ideal scenario\, each team boasts 6 to 8 players\, providing captains with the flexibility to manage player absences effectively and set their lines accordingly. However\, in cases of smaller teams (with 4 players)\, the 3rd line will engage in a unique “Dreambreaker” match. Here\, each 4-person team competes in doubles combined\, with pairings switching every five points until one team reaches a score of 25 – think of it as a thrilling tag team match. Line 1 initiates the match until a team reaches 5 points\, followed by line 2\, and so on until the target of 25 points is achieved. \nStandings & Rosters\nCurrent standings/rosters will be found here! \nStandings in the league will be determined based on the following factors: \n\nPoints\nRecord\nHead-to-Head\nSets Lost\nPoints lost\n\nSchedule\nThe league’s schedule will be released shortly after the draft. SUMMARY:Doubles Pickleball Ladder Shootout
DESCRIPTION:Introducing this summers Doubles Pickleball Ladder Tournament. Each week the ladder will generate 5 player matchups based on the current weeks rankings. Each 5 person pairing will have one week to arrange a time to play a round robin with everyone playing with everyone as their partner. All games are 15 straight. Total number of points available per player is 60. The % of points earned will be the ranking system for moving up or down the ladder. Scores will be submitted no later than Saturday at 8:00pm. Pairings for the next week will be released Sunday morning. \n*** Players unable to play for a given week will need to let the ladder captain\, so that the matchups can be adjusted ahead of time. In the case that a substitute is needed it will be used to fill a position only. They will provide an opportunity for “Actual” players to post a score for the week.
