Week 8 Highlights
- Sorge wins his 5th flight A title of the summer. Incredibly consistent when the lights are brightest.
- James takes a vacation from vacationing to get to Flight A when it matters most.
- JT after 4 runner-up finishes decides to wear his good shorts to finally master the C flight.
- Lee P. ends up naked and afraid in flight D after yoyoing up and down flights all summer.
- Jojo goes perfect to climb back to C.
League Notes
- This is the end of the summer ladder. Will we ever do a summer ladder again… tbd. I think a different format in the summer plays better.
- The championship flight play is two weeks of cumulative scoring. That being said, at this point, I don’t care if you play all of the games in 1 evening, back-to-back nights, or over the next two weeks. We just need the results by 8/21. Do your part.
- 8/27 Tournament: It was mentioned that we do a double elimination tournament where A/B and C/D play separate tournaments. We can do that or we can have one big tournament. Can we get 20 people for a tournament 8/27?
- We are working out the details for a team league this fall. The concept is phenomenal and is how tennis leagues are often scheduled. Details to follow shortly.
